Hello! My name is Angelica Cabahug and I’d like to welcome you to my website. I’m here to share my story on how I became who I am now and why I do what I do.

Several years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, a degenerative disease that is rising among women. It was devastating to me and my family. I wanted to live but didn’t know how to fight the disease. Then I found living foods through research. I started to incorporate more of these into my diet. I liked the flavour and taste of living foods and started creating simple raw food dishes. Meanwhile I had to go through surgery and was advised by my Oncologist that I would be given chemotherapy or radiation and other medications after surgery.  This was not good news to me but I had a strong belief that my new diet would prevent that. After surgery, results of estrogen receptors were negative which meant I didn’t need to be given radiation or chemotherapy or any other treatments that were normally given to cancer patients. The Oncologist was surprised on the results as it wasn’t normal for breast cancer patients. That gave me an indication that living foods was working.  At this time, I was also going through check ups with my family doctor who was concerned about suspicious cells found on my other breast. The last check up showed nothing —  no suspicious cells at all! It’s been 12 plus years now since my diagnosis and I’m cancer-free!

For the years that I’ve been well, I see others struggling to be well and most often with no success. I’ve seen so many people committing the same mistake of leaning towards what they think is the only route to overcoming their health challenges. It affects me so much to the point that I have decided to study and gain knowledge so I can help others see that there is a way out of their health challenges.

In 2009, I took a course to learn the mechanics and fundamentals of raw vegan food at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute. Following that, I enrolled at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and became a Certified Holistic Health Coach and a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Currently, I am enrolled in Holistic Nutrition Lab to become a Functional Nutrition Health Coach.

I continue to learn and educate myself and by doing so I am also able to educate the people who come to me for help. This does not mean telling you to eat organic, wholesome food or eating raw vegan food or change your lifestyle or do more exercise (if you’ve done some). It means more than that! You’ll certainly get those as they are necessary to make you feel better but you’ll also be able to understand why you are in your current condition. You’ll know what to do to get out of that condition or to be able to manage the condition you are in so that you can feel better! By doing this, YOU take ownership of your own health! And I’ll guide and support you along the way.

How do I do this?

It starts with an initial 30-minute conversation by phone. Prior to our meeting, you will fill out a comprehensive Intake Form and submit it to me. This gives me a chance to review the form so we can talk about you and your story. When we meet, the focus will mainly be getting to know YOU. You will also get a chance to know the work that I do and whether I will be the right person to help you. At the same time, it will help me find out if you are the person who can do the work (as there will be work on your part) that is required for you to reach your goals so that you feel better. In short, it is a time where  you and I get to see if we are a good fit to work together.

Are you ready for this conversation? If so, then…

Let’s talk!  Book a time with me!
